Hydroscopic Coating and What it Does for Your Glasses
Probably the single most annoying part of wearing glasses, in my opinion is when it rains - or when you are in a steamy situation. Enter hydroscopic coating!
Hydro means water
Scope is a device used for viewing
Hydroscopic is an action relating to hydroscope which is a kind is an instrument for seeing below the surface of water.
So hydroscopic coating on a pair of eyeglasses allows the wearer to see clearer and by repelling mainly water and dirt, making lenses easier to clean. You will find that water and fog especially do not cling easily to the lenses and run off leaving your lenses quite dry.
Hydroscopic coating gives you:
· Clearer vision with Hydroscopic Coating
Reduce Glare:

Reduce Smudge
