Description

You have fairly new glasses, but now you need a new prescription - what to do?

If you bought your prescription eyeglasses from Eyewearinsight.com we can help you save even more money.

You can buy just the lenses for your frames - you must first check to see if the frames are in stock - and then switch the lenses out yourself. This is not hard to do in most cares and we will help you as much as possible. With written and video directions.
  • Full-rim frames are easy to change - but generally the higher the prescription, that is, the thicker the lenses the harder they are to change. You must also consider if you purchase high-index lenses - these can also be a little tricky. But you can also just go to the local tech or Costco and pay a little to have them changed
  • Half-rim frames are a little bit harder - but all the same, points apply.
  • Rimless frames are generally very hard - if not impossible to change at home and you may need the help of the local tech.
Check out what the possibilities for changing the lenses before you decide to go this route.

Please note that you should indicate the name/style number of the frames you are trying to replace the lenses for - in the additional notes section so that we know what shape to cut the lenses too.
